Tristan Keuris (1946-1996) wordt door veel kenners en liefhebbers gezien als een van de grootste naoorlogse Nederlandse componisten. Zijn gevoel voor kleurgebruik en orchestratie is zeer karakteristiek, evenals de levendige expressie die in zijn stukken telkens naar boven komt. Deze cd-box met zijn complete oevre laat pareltjes uit de Nederlandse moderne muziek horen, bijvoorbeeld het Saxofoonkwartet of het Divertimento. In de box ook een van de films waar Keuris de muziek voor schreef, To Brooklyn Bridge. De verbinding tussen beeld en muziek is overrompelend.
